ATI provided comprehensive design services as the Prime A/E consultant on a design-build team with Allen & Shariff Construction Services for the complete interior renovation of Building 503, located at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland. The building was originally constructed in 1943 and used as a storage facility for the Navy. ATI provided architectural design, structural engineering design, and interior design services on this project.
Completed in 2015, the interior renovation re-purposed the building to provide private offices, open office space, network communication space, and secure space for the Naval Air Station. Designed and built in accordance with sustainable design principles, the project has received USGBC LEED Silver certification.
